An anorexic woman who weighs only 20 kg should not be force fed even though she will die without food, a High Court judge has ruled.
It would not be in the best interests of the “intelligent” 29 year old woman, referred to in court as L, to feed her against her wishes, Mrs Justice Eleanor King ruled at the Court of Protection in London.
