UK physiotherapists and podiatrists to get prescribing rights: Physiotherapists and podiatrists in the United Kingdom could be the first in the world to be able to prescribe drugs for some conditions such asthma and pain, which would include analgesics and anti-inflammatories, under a proposal to extend prescribing responsibilities.
