Dying Dutch patients are treated for too long: Dutch doctors continue intensive treatment of dying patients for longer than is desirable or in patients’ best interests, say almost two thirds of respondents in a survey of more than 700 doctors carried out by the Dutch Medical Association journal, Medisch Contact.
