The critics of this article have responded fairly accurately on the limitations of this study, particularity on aspects on design and methodology (1). However, this study does clearly emphasize a well known fact in the treatment of depression: giving advice on behavioral change will not merely improve mood, no matter how structured and lengthy the advice giving process is. And so, the authors do earn points for this.
