Whilst the above is no doubt valid, the patient's seat is located towards the front of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand. Regular visitors to Old Trafford will be aware that standing in that particular area of the stadium is not well tolerated by the authorities.
This is coupled with the fact that her symptoms were experienced over a sustained period of time towards the end of close games against challenging opposition, rather than isolated incidents such as an attempt at goal.

When a person is mentally very intensely engaged symptoms are different to those when relaxed.
Could it be that when the excitement was maximal she had to stand to see the game but sat when nothing exciting was going on.
Thus most or all of her symptoms might have been due to postural hypotension which is normally present in untreated Addison's disease.
