Finland’s health regulatory authority is being investigated after the discovery that two men who had been working as doctors in Finland for many years were not medically qualified.
Maria Guzenina-Richardson, the Finnish minister of health and social services, has appointed a three person group to look into the actions of Valvira, the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health, after claims that the authority had ignored warnings last year that the two doctors’ qualifications might be bogus.
