Future Forum tries to influence two key government documents

The NHS Future Forum, in its second coming, is calling on England’s health secretary to provide better information to patients, including online access to their health records, and financial incentives for commissioning groups that promote integrated care.
Recognising that the NHS operating framework for 2012-13 and also further details about how public health will be organised are likely to emerge before it can produce a full report, the forum has sent Andrew Lansley interim recommendations in the hope of influencing the shape of both these documents.
