Thomas Anthony (“Tom”) was a family doctor in the best, holistic, and committed sense. He and his wife Mollie, a former nursing tutor, operated for many years from their home in a partnership that earned respect and affection from patients and colleagues alike. They formed a team characterised by astute medicine, a deep and genuine interest in the welfare of their patients, and a dedication that permitted few hours of leisure away from the practice.
