The government has welcomed the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee’s report on the UK Centre for Medical Research and Innovation, now renamed the Francis Crick Institute.
In a response published on 13 September, the government applauds the committee’s “positive contribution” in taking forward the new research institute. In comments on each of the committee’s original recommendations there is broad agreement between the views expressed by the committee, and those held by the government. …
