Government seems to have listened but not heard in reorganising public health

The government’s proposals for public health in England seem to have been put together on the back of a cigarette packet.1 The “listening exercise” was an opportunity for the flawed Healthy Lives, Healthy People to be improved,2 but advice offered by professionals has been largely ignored.3
