The GP who missed signs that the battered toddler Peter Connelly was being abused has been allowed to practise again after 12 months’ suspension.
A General Medical Council review panel found that Jerome Ikwueke had “gained considerable insight into his failings” since the original hearing last July (BMJ 2010;341:c3692, doi:10.1136/bmj.c3692).
