An advertising campaign aimed at raising awareness of the early signs and symptoms of bowel cancer was launched this week in England.
The advertisements, which feature GPs encouraging people to talk to them about changes in their stools, will be broadcast on television and radio and appear in newspapers in the east and the south west of England in a seven week pilot programme. If they prove successful in raising awareness the campaign will be rolled out nationally.
