Top five risks in general practice: Data collected from 121 general practices in the UK and Ireland identified the top five risks they faced during 2010 as relating to confidentiality, communication, health and safety, prescribing, and record keeping. Information collected by the Medical Protection Society showed many practices were concerned about keeping staff and their families’ records confidential within their practice and having robust systems in place for communicating with patients.
