Royal College lays down minimum standards for the treatment of children

The level of care provided to children and young people in the health service is in “crisis” and the health of those children is suffering and will continue to do so unless there is a “radical change,” the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) has warned.

Publishing a new set of service standards, Facing the Future: Standards for Paediatric Services, the college has called for a series of far reaching changes to the way healthcare is delivered to the young across the NHS.
