European Medicines Agency widens access to its documents

The London based European Medicines Agency is preparing to make more of its documentation available to health professionals and the general public. The initiative is in response to increasing demand for information and to criticism earlier this year by the ombudsman for the European Union after the agency refused two requests for access to documents it held.
