The paediatrician accused of failing to spot Baby P’s serious injuries days before he was killed has won a key High Court ruling in her fight to avoid a fitness to practise hearing by the General Medical Council.
At the High Court in London Mr Justice Mitting quashed the GMC’s refusal to allow Sabah Al-Zayyat to remove herself from the medical register on health grounds rather than face a hearing.
