The Obama administration asked a three judge appeals court on Monday 28 September to reverse a lower court’s ruling that had temporarily suspended most federally funded research involving human embryonic stem cells supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The court is expected to issue a ruling soon, perhaps within days.
