Drug firms and doctors are continuing to conduct unethical research in developing countries, a major conference heard on 7 September.
The claim emerged at a meeting of the European Medicines Agency’s working group on “third country” clinical trials, as it published a major discussion paper highlighting areas that need urgent attention, together with recommendations for action.
