G20 pathologist acted irresponsibly in earlier cases

The Home Office pathologist who suggested that the newspaper seller Ian Tomlinson had died of a heart attack during the G20 protest in London in April 2009 behaved irresponsibly in a series of other autopsies, a General Medical Council disciplinary panel has ruled.
The GMC found Freddy Patel had been “irresponsible” in earlier unrelated examinations; he could now be suspended or struck off the medical register at a later hearing.
