Re: Sex, health, and years of sexually active life gained due to good health: evidence from two US population based cross sectional surveys of ageing
The topic of adolescents´ sexuality is of great importance at present and the approach to this issue represents a great challenge, therefore, it is required to develop and update managerial capacities towards a more efficient and effective management of Sexual and Reproductive Health services and programs aimed at this group. The social management in each setting should be oriented to solving problems faced in every setting through the use of techniques and resources suitable to each situation, with a comprehensive and unified approach that addresses all the aspects to be changed. Adolescence is the perfect stage of life to promote changes and introduce values that assure adequate health condition and social behaviour in adulthood, so in this regard, a properly oriented social management may contribute to achieving highly relevant positive changes. All this means that the investments made in these adolescents today will yield huge revenues for several generations to come.
