Doctors demand release of postmortem findings on David Kelly

    Lawyers for six doctors seeking an inquest into the death of the weapons inspector David Kelly have written to the Ministry of Justice demanding to see the results of postmortem examinations of his body.

    The move follows a decision by Lord Hutton, the senior judge who led the inquiry into Dr Kelly’s death, to lift a previously undisclosed 70 year ban he had imposed on release of the postmortem findings, pictures of the body and other medical evidence.
