    Regulatory loopholes mean foreign locum doctors who err in the UK could still be free to work at home, say Clare Dyer and Annette Tuffs

    The authorities in Germany that could have removed Daniel Ubani’s licence to practise have dropped proceedings against him. They have instead accepted a legally binding undertaking from Ubani that he will not work abroad again. This is despite the General Medical Council’s decision to strike him off the UK register.
