Soldiers remove patients from hospital in Democratic Republic of the Congo: Médecins Sans Frontières has condemned as deplorable a serious incident in which armed soldiers from the Congolese army entered a hospital in Katanga on 11 March while emergency care was being provided. MSF said that the soldiers left the hospital a day later with four patients. MSF’s head in the region, Philippe Havet, called on all armed personnel “to respect medical establishments and the safety of wounded people and medical staff.”
