The paediatrician accused of failing to spot abused toddler Baby P’s broken back two days before he died has had her misconduct hearing postponed to protect her human rights after leaving the United Kingdom.
Sabah Al-Zayyat left the country the day before the hearing was due to open at the General Medical Council in London on 22 February.
She is accused of failing to properly examine 17 month old Peter Connolly and diagnose serious abuse while working as a locum consultant community paediatrician in north London. He was found dead two days later …
