New centre seeks to promote global health security

A new think tank, funded by England’s Department of Health, has been launched to identify and offer solutions to maintain global health security.
The Chatham House Centre on Global Health Security will analyse the factors underpinning the health security of individuals and the vulnerability of populations to global health threats. Where problems and weaknesses in mechanisms and policies are identified, it will recommend ways in which the public health and international affairs communities can overcome them.
