    What is a doctor worth? No, I’m not having a moment of existentialist angst. Forget that emotional claptrap, I’m talking about what really matters: money, moolah, cash, whatever you want to call it. “More than we’re paid,” is the usual, rather sullen, response.

    This question is easy to answer. We all think we’re valuable and underappreciated. Some even think of themselves as indispensible.
