Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip are enduring a chronic health crisis that will be fully alleviated only by an end to the occupation by Israel, a two year, peer reviewed study by an international team has concluded.
The report, written by a team of health scientists from Birzeit University, near Ramallah, West Bank—together with colleagues from the World Health Organization, United Nations agencies, and universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway, and France—is described as the latest and most comprehensive assessment yet produced of the health of Palestinians.
