US continues to bar entry to people with HIV: Paul Thorn, a project director for the Tuberculosis Survival Project and a UK citizen, says he was denied a visa to speak at a conference in the United States because of his HIV status. Earlier in the month 60 Canadians were barred for the same reason when they sought to attend a conference on housing for people living with HIV. The Obama administration has yet to change the policy.
