UK children should have more access to green open spaces, be better protected against poisoning, and have better access to drinking water in schools, says a report from the Health Protection Agency.
The report, commissioned by the Department of Health, is part of the United Kingdom’s response to a World Health Organization initiative, agreed in 2004, aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people throughout Europe.
