The award winning website of patients’ experiences, DIPEx, has changed its name and added three more sets of patients’ stories to its database, one related to Parkinson’s disease and two to autism.
DIPEx, which stood for database of individual patient experiences, is replaced by the new name Healthtalkonline (www.healthtalkonline.org), which the organisers think states its purpose more clearly. The site covers almost 50 illnesses and general health topics, including cancer, heart disease, chronic pain, bereavement, diabetes, epilepsy, and women’s health.
