Maurice (“Monty”) Murray

Monty always wanted to be a doctor and achieved this despite the duties and responsibilities of being eldest brother to five younger brothers. During the second world war he served in Burma in the Royal Army Medical Corps surviving not only action in the jungle but also amoebic dysentery.
