We introduced two errors into this letter by Arash Etemadi and colleagues (BMJ 2006;333:862, doi: 10.1136/bmj.333.7573.862, 21 Oct). Firstly, somehow we moved Akbar Fotouhi's name from fourth place to second—the correct order is Arash Etemadi, Asieh Golozar, Jane Nicholson, Akbar Fotouhi. Secondly, we should have described Arash Etemadi as an epidemiologist.
