Cancer group denies company funding will influence its agenda

    The organisers of a pan-European cancer campaign have denied claims that they are in the pocket of the drug industry. The new organisation, Cancer United (http://www.cancerunited.org/), has received funding from Roche, the world's leading maker of anticancer drugs. The public relations firm Weber Shandwick is providing logistical support.
