The first three mental health foundation trusts have been authorised in England. Monitor, the UK's independent regulator of NHS foundation trusts, has named them as Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, South Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and South Staffordshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
