    A retired GP who had been charged with murdering three of his patients with large doses of morphine and diamorphine was cleared last month but now faces a coroner's investigation into the deaths of at least 12 more patients. Howard Martin, aged 71, was cleared by a jury at Teesside Crown Court of killing Frank Moss, aged 59, and Stanley Weldon and Harry Gittins, both aged 74.
