    The UK government must invest more in research and treatment of brain disorders to avoid building up problems for the future, a major public consultation on contemporary science concludes.

    The recommendation comes from the British arm of the “meeting of minds” project, funded by the European Commission, in which a group of 126 citizens from nine countries has been meeting over the last 18 months to consider the implications of developments in brain science.
