Those of us working in the healthcare sector sometimes tend to forget the big picture. When thinking about what influences health we usually think of health related services and individual choices and lifestyles. Although these are important, other issues have more influence on the health of individuals and communities, such as education, employment and working conditions, sanitation, housing, and income.
