A north London GP accused of forging a letter and lying in another letter to cover up negligent treatment of two patients has been suspended for 12 months by the General Medical Council.
Dr Ahmed Abdelsalam Moneeb of Palmers Green was found to have made misleading and dishonest statements in a letter that he wrote in response to a complaint by a patient, Ms Margaret Cleary.
