Former dermatologist Toronto (b Radcliffe, England, 1936; q King's College Hospital Medical School, London, 1959; MD, FRCP, FRCPC), d 24 April 2003.
After practising dermatology in London as a consultant at Guy's Hospital and St John's Hospitalfor Diseases of the Skin, Colin moved to Canada in 1975 to take up a post as dermatologist at the Toronto Western Hospital. He was professor of dermatology at the University of Toronto, and servedas director of the Division of Dermatology at the university from 1977 to 1990 and later as head of the Division of Dermatology at the Toronto Hospital. From 1985 to 1991 he was head of the Division of Dermatology at Women's College Hospital. In 2002 he assumed a teaching and clinical positionat King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He leaves a wife, Sheila, and two children.
