The Labour party in Wales is promising free prescriptions for all, free breakfasts for primary schoolchildren, and the end of home care charges for disabled people.
The party, in its manifesto for the Welsh Assembly elections on 1 May, is also pledging money to modernise GP surgeries and hospital wards and says it will cut child pedestrian accidents with new 20 mph (32 km/h) zones.
