Guidelines and clinical networks should be established in England and Wales to improve the quality of care for premature babies, says a report published this week by the Confidential Enquiry into Stillbirths and Deaths in Infancy.
The report aimed to identify patterns of practice or service provision that might have contributed to the deaths of premature babies born at 27 or 28 weeks.
