The World Medical Association last week condemned the targeting and harassment of health workers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Echoing comments from the International Committee of the Red Cross and the World Health Organization, the secretary general, Delon Human, said that the association would raise the issue at the United Nations later this month. Of particular concern, he said, was the risk of infection from unburied bodies.
