A plastic surgeon who accused her employers of sex discrimination and victimisation under the Race Relations Act settled for a six figure sum just hours before a tribunal was to start hearing her case. Judy Evans, a consultant at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, accepted voluntary early retirement at the age of 50.
