    Health experts this week joined world leaders in condemning President George Bush's rejection of the Kyoto global climate treaty. They warned that there would be profound implications for human health in the decades ahead if the United States, by far the world's greatest polluter, failed to reduce its output of greenhouse gases. “This is an extraordinary move by President Bush—short sighted and extremely worrying,” said Professor Andy Haines, the dean of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
