Funding of hospital equipment underfunded by £8m in Scotland

    Hospitals in Scotland are failing to invest adequately in medical equipment, which could result in putting patients at risk, says a report from the Auditor General for Scotland. It has recommended the establishment of a rolling programme of planned replacement.
