Antismoking drug comes under scrutiny after deaths

    The manufacturer of the antismoking drug amfebutamone (Zyban), GlaxoSmithKline, has insisted that no evidence exists of an increased risk of death with its use, after 18 deaths were linked with suspected adverse drug reactions.
