Paroxetine licensed for post-traumatic stress disorder: Paroxetine, made by GlaxoSmithKline, has been licensed by the UK Medicines Control Agency as a treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. The drug, which is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, is already licensed for depression, panic, social phobia, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
