Third of Irish doctors regret going into medicine

A survey by the Irish Medical Organisation shows that 42% of the country's junior doctors regret their career choice, compared with a quarter of both GPs and consultants.
Almost a third of all doctors said they would reject medicine if they were back at school; 36% of female doctors who responded said they would not choose medicine again, compared with 29% of male respondents.
The survey, Turning Vision into Reality, also shows rising concern over a broad range of issues. Workload …
