New reporting system for euthanasia shows doctors follow rules

Dutch doctors carrying out euthanasia acted with due care in almost all cases according to the first annual report of the Netherlands' “euthanasia appraisal committees.”
But the report, presented to the health and justice ministries, shows no recent improvement in the reporting rate for euthanasia cases, estimated at around 60%.
