A federal court last month upheld the constitutionality of laws in Illinois and Wisconsin that ban late term abortion.
The sharply divided 5-4 opinion of the US Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals conflicted with the decision taken in September by the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals declaring similar bans in Nebraska, Arkansas, and Iowa to be unconstitutional.
